ICICI’s new No EFT Transfer System & Email Fraud Info
Just found a update from ICICI bank’s online account where in they announce the following -
RBI is closing down its EFT system from Jun 30, 2007. The NEFT system will continue to function. Your funds transfer (including Standing Instructions) will not be executed from Jun 30, 2007 for receiving bank branches that are not part of NEFT. For details click here.Get Instant Account Balance by sending IBAL to 676766.
We understand that there are fraudulent e-mails going out to customers of various banks asking them to update sensitive account information like their Internet Banking User IDs, Passwords, Debit Card Numbers, Credit Card Numbers etc., by clicking on an e-mail link or by visiting a website.This emails force you to share sensitive information related to your account by showing concern of your account.
If you receive an e-mail claiming to be from ICICI Bank regarding updating sensitive account information, let us know by forwarding the e-mail to executivedirector@icicibank.com or by calling our 24-hour Customer Care.

This really is pathetic for users which are used to it… But there is no other go..
they also have to look after the security of users and their banks

i used icici’s internet banking its much good there is no tension regarding this..
