The price plans seem to be cut down to half of its competitors in order to gain more clients. The speed claimed by the company is double of the reliance netconnect speed which ranges in around 15-25kbps. This product may not be a part of the best usb cards but still can be a option if you have no network connectivity in your area other than idea and are looking to connect to the internet.

Sorry… This is also not useful.
I visited Idea Show room in Vizag. I asked demo for Idea Netsetter.
They plugged the USB card and connected their pc. When I test the Internet speed it shows only 2 Kbps. I tried again after 10 mins, again its 2 kbps. So Idea also tells we have to dream the “Wireless Internet” not as planned Idea…!
And there is no free roaming. In Tamil nadu you have to pay roaming charges Rs. 1.50 as STD call rate. but in ads you can see free roaming.
Please make the good decision before purchase this device.
Note:
I’m looking for Wireless DATA card with at least 30 KBps download speed and all India roaming. I need unlimited plan only. If any one knows plz comment here…

i am using idea network in kerala(ernakulam,piravom). here
speed is too slow and can’t able to use. here every one changing the
network because of the low speed. whether i want to wait or change the
connection? u r going to loose lot of customers including me if u will
not increase the speed.

idea has avery low speed of 236 kbps which is not guarunteed … and may vary according to signal …so don t go for if until u need to be fooled

The idea net setter is seriously not worth even a single buck!! my per month usage used to come around 12-13GB with BSNL n now with idea i cant even surf properly..!

my dear idea netsetter customer, pl dont use this idea netsetter, because it is very useless components. when they sold it, they said it will give u more speed in surfing & downloading bur its very slowwww… so do’nt use this item.

guys idea give this services through the same gsm network so due to call conjestion n network load n some times low signal strength gives rise to very low speeds .. this type of connections are not reliable
they can be fast in night times when traffic load is less n vice versa
go for the Reliance or Bsnl or tata but only the 3G speeds which come from 2Mbps in bsnl -3.1 Mbps in reliance
these will atleast prove to be of worth when u spend money
