Whenever you start your computer, you will have to wait upto 2 minutes normally for all the applications to run and make sure that the PC won’t hangup in the middle. The reason for this delay is the huge number of software applications which start and run in the background most of which are not really required to run when your computer starts. When these software’s start loading they use most of your RAM and CPU time delaying your other work, hence here is a solution for this which can help you in avoiding the start up programs for some time.
The application is called as Startup Delayer which is available as a free download and easy to understand and use interface. You can directly disable most of the startup programs but its essential for your computer to run these, hence its better to delay their processing instead of totally disabling them. The software is compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/XP64/Vista and allows you to setup the time after which it should allow the different programs to run.

Yeah, I agree with your opinion on how to make computer run faster at startup. But I have found one another effective way — running a simple disk defragmentation to easily make the computer run faster by rearranging them stay at the same single place and insist on regularly defragmenting my computer.

… and don’t forget about MSCONFIG which comes with most versions of Windows. Click the Start button, then Run. Type in MSCONFIG and press Enter. It allows you to choose which services and applications run at Startup. Getting rid of some unnecessary services can really improve startup speeds
