This is very bad to me say about indian railways. They r telling that the enquiry number 139 is a toll free but its not a tollfree number. They r charging 2 rupees per minute…
Plz try to make it a toll free number

I am accessing the railway enquiry no. 139 from my bsnl mobile from my local place. I want to know can I access the 139 mumber while roaming across India.

It works with Airtel landline also Robert. I don’t know if its toll free for airtel or not.

Since last 20 days the PNR status is not operational on the Indian railway website? in this senario how to check the PNR status > also the 139 service is unable to give the current status of the PNR wait listed ticket. Pls help

I m very abset from this enquiry service because this service not provide the facility of customer care In this we can not talk to customer care executive so that we can not getproper information. In this service only 5 option they are PNR, Comping and going, Sit avilibility, Fare Charges, and E- Ticket information. But in this other info. like platforme enquiry,resevation enquiry which r very impotant,so plz in this service add the sevice of the customer care executive

what rubbish is this they told its tollfree number but when i called it charged me 1 rupees per min.. what stupid is this?. Railway or Vadafone?

My ticket no. is 07829127.Tickets are in waiting list so I need to know the status but PNR no. is not clear.It has overwritten and i see no way to retrieve the pnr no. from ticket.Please help me in this regard.
