Thank you man. I have installed phpld4 but in admin section still problem. Following message shows:

1. The configuration file is still writable by the user the webserver runs under. This poses a security risk, please drop write permissions for include/config.php

2. Attention: register_globals = On

i am planing to run directory service, i don’t have much knowledge about php and phpld2, but i am fast lerner, so i am using web tutorial, apart from domian name i can’t afford to pay for webhost so thats why i like to know is there is any host company who can host phpld and how much webspace i need to run basic directory service, as starter what do i need to know, anyone tell me please.

Hi.
After installing the script, it is recomended by the guides to set up the categories. Now, when I go to the Categories section, no categories are loaded. Is this correct? Do I have to write every Category? Is there a way to populate this with a templeate or something?

Great job on installation help – clear, concise and simple!
I have a question: When my users try to log in, it says “No permissions set for this user.” Is there a way to set permissions for users to log into their listing and be able to edit. Is this possible?
Also, I used the phpld spider to propagate my directory. Is there a script or way to set a login and password for each of the links so I can send an email to the owners of some of these sites allowing them to log into and edit the title, description, etc. and possibly upgrade to a feature link. In other words allow them to make changes to the submissions that the spider had generated?

Sir,
I am stuck to install modules and templates for my website which I anyhow uploaded after asking several people and lot of humilations at the hand of knowledgeable people.

Please help me how to install Modules/Plugins, Templates/Skins in DLE (Datalife Engine) CMS

I want to learn more once this is completed.
