To transfer File/Folder, Drag & Drop File/Folder to Send Window. (or select right button menu on Send Window)

Hi,
I have a problem with my IP messenger.If i send an attachment to other pc from my ip it is not getting saved.It is showing the msg prepare for transfer(if i send even a single word doc with the 600 kb size also.)I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it again but it is not of any use.Cud u pls suggest a solution.

It’s because recipient PC may have older version of IP Msgr. Please have them (recipient PC) uninstall old and install latest version. Now try to send a file once again.

Check your Windows Firewall settings. Remove all entries of IPMsg. Then add a fresh entry with full correct path for IPMsg.exe . Restart your IPMsg.

I ve installed ip msg on my network.
i am using wireless network connected through wi-fi,
though i can send file via netmeeting and also chat with ipmsg.
but cant transfer files with it(ipmsg). when the reciever recieves a file and gives the path the transfer gets stuck.

We are using IP Msg in our LAN which has multiple subnets and about 200 workstations. However, its been a week since I have deployed it in the org and still i have never seen more than 16 people in the count list. There are people across subnets, so there is no reason for me to believe that it is because of the subnets. All subnets can talk to each other. I have no way of telling why it does not show me the other people in the LAN. Also, there is no option to add people incase you do not see them. Help Please !!

In my office few are on Lan and few or on WAN. IP Messenger doesn’t show users from both LAN/WAN. I mean Lan users can share files and chat with Lan users not with WAN users.
Any solutions ???

in my case there are around 70 users in my lan network and every one using it with no problem but in my system when i send an file it will be send with 10 mb/s speed but when someone else is send me a file it will come at 5kb/s speed ……my problem is with data reciving speed how to increase it plz help its must thankyou
