If you are using Kontera on your websites or blogs which pays for all the clicks you get on the Incontent Link Ads, you should try to move away from this network because its a SCAM, over the past 1.5 years i was using them , but whenever i approach them for payments they ask me to update my Payment Details in my Kontera Account. Once done and notified i get a messaging saying you will be paid the next month and my payments are in schedule.
Iam pretty sure i have 1500$+ amount pending from them for the last 2 years and because of their mistakes i had to create 2 accounts, and numerous channels because they recommended me to submit them the websites where i will be displaying their ads and now they keep combining the accounts but dont pay me.
I used Kontera ads on many of my websites in the first two quarters of 2008 and then slowly started removing their codes from all my websites because of very less EPC(Earning Per Click) , believe or not i used to get 1 – 1.5$ for 100 clicks , do you want to lose your quality visitors for less than a cent? Only problem with Online Business is that you cannot report about them somewhere with the Authorities, and this the reason companies like Kontera start cheating people with very very less revenues at first taking the major share on which we cannot complain but at the end scamming by not paying their publishers and just delaying them.

Amit:This is the third email I have sent to you, regarding this issue. Can you please confirm that you have received this email? I was able to locate the problem and why we are showing your account as not having been updated and was awaiting your response, regarding which site you were inquiring about for payment and which one you updated (see issue below). You have several sites with us, each with a different id # and profile. Consequently, you are correct that id #27726 (for qii.in) has been filled out correctly. The problem is that id #2646 (for hiifii) is the account that is due a payment, based on our payment terms and the revenue you have accrued for that account, and that profile has not been updated with the necessary account and payment details.
I am currently investigating why things were set up this way and will have a full update no later than Monday. Publishers sometimes keep accounts separate or forget to submit a request to combine their sites into one network. This may explain why different accounts exist for your sites. Regardless, if this was an error on our part, then I will remedy the matter on our end to ensure you receive a payment asap. If it is a matter that relates back to your account and how you set things up, then we will need you to update the other account before we can release a payment for that account.
In the future, please include your id # and the sites you are inquiring about. This will ensure we have all the necessary information to effectively and efficiently investigate youre query. We in no way are looking to withhold payment. Kontera is actually one of the best companies I have worked for in terms of paying out their publishers/vendors. They have always gone the extra mile to ensure that their publishers receive all revenue owed them and we have countless accomodations for publishers during my tenure here being involved with publisher payments.
Anyway, I just talked with our Ops department and it looks like I should have a final resolution/answer to this issue and what needs to happen to get your account paid in the next half hour . . . I will be in touch soon. Take care.

I think you misread my last email. I did not say that you would not receive your payment due, as promised, on the April payout cycle. In fact, I cued your payment this morning for release at the start of next week. I was just notifying you that in order to avoid delays in FUTURE payments, it is necessary for you to resubmit your tax and payment details. This will reset your account to the new id # that is now associated with the network we set up for you, in response to your request.Please email me, once you have updated your account so I can verify everything came through successfully.
Again, I hope I have clarified fully that a payment WILL GO OUT NEXT WEEK for your open revenue through February as promised. I had a account with them long long back which was not making good amount of money, then i stopped using kontera. After few months when this blog started getting traffic i thought to add back the codes but was not able to login , hence signed up for a new account which they approved instantly. Followed by which they asked me to submit each website of mine one by one so they could send me ad codes. Now they are not able to easily merge the account, once they merged it, they are sending payments to a unknown person and then after notifying about the same, they are feeling sorry for the same.

I should rescind one detail included in my last email. The paypal id I referred to is the paypal id you had updated in the original account you set up under id #2646. If you remember, I mentioned any manual updates we entered on your behalf prior to the April payout were only temporary (see emails from 3/23 and 3/26). Due to the sheer number of indivual site accounts initially created on your end, the tax and payment details you updated online under id #27726 (gii.in) cannot be adjusted on our end to correspond to your new network account under id #2646. Regardless, I will follow up with our Accounting manager to verify to which id your payment was submitted. Kontera staff told us that this problems has been solved with you. Is it correct? Did they really solve your problem, you are getting paid and no other trouble is occurring now?
