As the Indian government planning to launch the 3G services in India by November 1 and will bring smile on the faces of many customers but it will get full operation from January 1, 2011.
Just when 3G launch talks are round the corner Lemon mobiles a brand promoted by Fastrack Communications has announced the launch of their affordable 3G enabled handset for the Indian customers. This handset will cost not more than Rs 3,500 and it would be the cheapest 3G mobile phone packed with good features.
The handset is named as Lemon W100 3G and it will have many interesting features. But the interesting thing here to know how many will it have seeing the price that its set at 3,500.
The specifications and hardware of Lemon W100 3G mobile phone is not yet known to us and it will be available soon. As 3G demands a front camera, so Lemon W100 will have two camera front and back for support of video calling . But Indian customers are more often attracted to features like Dual SIM, FM Radio and good camera quality. So the question on mind is that what will be the specifications of W100 mobile phone provided in that price range. Its believed that it will have features like live TV, video calling on 3G network, faster browsing, multimedia and dual camera.
Many countries have observed a low turnout to 3G and they are more happy with 2G, so its highly depends on how much would be the tariff and pricing of 3G in India and so it will determine the success of Lemon W100.
The Lemon W100 3G will be marketed by November 2010. BSNL and MTNL are running their 3G services with their own tariff and plans. Also near in Diwali festival Tata Docomo will launch their 3G services all across India and Airtel is soon to launch their services followed by other networks.
