LG Electronics, which of late has revamped its product offerings in India of late in the mobile segment has now launched a second shot with the launch of an all 2 new LG Optimus Series phone which are dubbed as LG Optimus 2x P990 and LG Optimus Black in which Optimus 2x is the first phone which comes powered with the Nvidia’s all new Tegra 2 dual series of processor which promises to deliver top notch performance with an exceptional hardware feature set with the best of the lot embedding technology in this as this phone was the most awaited launch in the world of smart phones. LG Optimus 2x was launched earlier in Singapore last month. These both the phones come0 with Android 2.2 Froyo version but it is upgradable to Gingerbread 2.3 version which will be available very soon for both of these handsets. This phone also looks stunning with this looks as its one of the thinnest phone from the lot. This phone is dubbed as Optimus 2x P990.

If we talk of Optimus Black P970 then this one too comes with the same features of that of P990, but the only difference here is that this phone doesn’t come with the 1.3 MP camera like P990 but this phone comes with a better 2 MP camera and rest all features are the same also additionally this phone comes with the 2 GB on board storage and 512 MB RAM along with the 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor which is the single core.

If we talk of the battery life then Optimus 2X P990 phone comes with a super solid 1500 Mah battery power which promises to last for a stand by time of around 400 hours or can last for a talktime of up to 8 hours, but it will vary according to the usage patterns and Optimus Black P970 too comes along with the same battery life.
Talking of pricing then this LG Optimus 2x comes with a sticker price of Rs. 30, 000 while the Optimus Black P970 comes with a sticker price of Rs. 27, 000 but by using your bargaining skills you can get it for some less and can be purchased from all leading as well as local mobile phone stores across India. Both these phones are available only in Black Color as of now.
