Hi, I have a linksys WAG200G ADSL wireless router. It works ok except that its PPPoE link drops periodically even though the status shows its up. I have to manually drop the PPPoE connection and bring it up again to get it working. Is there some configuration option I am missing to keep it up in an "always on" mode?
Thanks

Hey Amit, I'm just wondering if you test the products yourself and review them, or compile your reviews from others?
They're very good, by the way.
If you want, you're always welcome to leave a guest post or two at my Windows XP blog or if possible, I write one for yours??

If you are an open-source enthusiast you might also want to use the MyOpenRouter, which is an open source implementation .NETGEAR open source wireless router is the WGR614L: which also supports many popular third party firmware applications, including DD-WRT, Tomato, and Sveasoft.

@ Amol : First of all you need a wireless modem like the one specified in this article or Dlink Wireless Modem, then check out this small article on Setting up Secure Home/Office Wireless Network Wifi Zone which would help you in staying connected upto 2 floors of the same building. Let me know if you have any other queries.
