Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard Review

March 31, 2010 by Tony Stark

Logitech has always surprised the world with its awesome products that have enhanced music, gaming and overall PC usage experience in a new way. With its new diNovo Edge keyboard, it has set a landmark in the present market of keyboards. This keyboard is wireless and at the same time rechargeable. Battery backup and battery life are pretty good as well. The keyboard can be installed very easily and Windows recognizes it within seconds via Bluetooth connector. Actually installing the software isn’t necessary at all unless the user wants to customize certain controls. It is portable and convenient to use with easy user interface instructions. The keyboard has a metallic feel and finishing. It gives the impression of a black piano and is sleek and at the same time, very classy. Also, this is extremely thin and lightweight. Apart from the usual 84 key system, this model has a lineup of highly helpful and innovative hot keys that helps the user to take care of a lot of functions like image zooming, hibernate, quick access, etc., very easily. These keys act as shortcuts to a lot of tedious functions.

A circular Touchpad is there as well that can be used to scroll, control media player functions, etc. This touchpad makes this product extremely special as it rules out the need to connect a mouse or similar device for proper usage of the computer. Also a mute key is there along with a touch sensitive scroll slider that helps control the volume. Along with these, a pair of cursor buttons is present as well. In place of backlight, there are orange colored indicators that work respectively with the working of the function keys. Overall, this is an excellent keyboard, and especially when it comes to the look, it’s safe to say, that this keyboard is simply mind blowing.

Pricing: the product is a bit high priced ranging from $149.99 to $200. And it comes with a three year limited hardware warranty from Logitech.
