After the launch of Hyundai i10 car , now its time for India to expect a new car named as ‘People’s Car’ which is going to be the cheapest car in India with the pricing being ‘1,00,000Rs’ or less than 2500USD. The car available in 2 versions ie Automatic and manual transmissions will be manufactured by Tata motors in their Uttarakhand facility. A total of 60,000 cars production has been targetted with heavy number of sales because of the lowest pricing features.
The car is going to have a lower engine specs with 650CC engine and lower quality spare parts to keep the cost lower and a Euro 3 compliant, with plans to launch this car in the upcoming auto expo in New Delhi. Lets wait and watch how the 100 crore populated country reacts to this car and how are the sales , because in my personal view there wont be many buyers for this car because the quality of all the parts and overall car would be very low and obviously this car cannot be run as a status symbol , nor a employed person would risk on it fearing about the resale value.

The reason is this as this car is cheaper then others and as stated by the company officials that in terms of space the Nano has 21 % more space internally than Maruti 800 and is just 8 % smaller bumper-to-bumper.
As the consumer tendency to buy the branded product, its very hard to stop them as TATA is a big brand and with a competitive price with two-wheelers. Keeping up with the overall theme of it being a People’s Car, the Nano will have a fuel efficiency of more than 20 kmpl. The engine of this beauty has a cubic capacity of 624 and power of 33 bhp.

yes if this model results are good then i think very few people will have a bike … people will prefer to have a car instead of a bike.
