Optimize Blog Database Tables & Remove Post Revisions

If you feel that your blog is getting slow and the database size is getting bigger you need to get it optimized by repairing the database after which you would delete all the useless stuff but still there are a lot of tables and data stored in your database which should be removed and this as a normal user you cannot implement.

Wp Optimize Wordpress PluginNow you need to install the Wordpress Plugin – Wp Optimize, which would perform the following four options like -
Remove all Post revisions
Clean marked Spam comments
Clean Unapproved comments
Optimize database tables

All of these options in one go, just check the options and then click on ‘Process’ and you will get a detailed report of all the Database Tables with the total space saved after the Process is completed. Download the Plugin here

Normally when you are writing a blog post and saving them as drafts a small copy is saved in the backend and when you make changes to these posts these are all saved in the backend which means that this is creating duplicate copies of all your blog posts making the database bigger and bigger and these revisions are not really required to you if the posts are already published. Normally the techies would try to login to their PhpMyAdmin and then try to tweak into all the tables. Also sometimes what happens is that some of your Blog comments and Spam comments are not deleted and using this plugin you can delete all the useless comments from your blog.
