Trend Micro Security systems announced recently that a trojan horse named as “TROJ_RANSOM.B” can affect any version of microsoft operating system and can prove highly dangerous for your PC and users have to make sure they have a backup of their data or else this dangerous trojan can destory everything.
You can get attacked by this trojan if you visit a malicious website which are normally recognized as spywares and browser based attacks to stay secure. The main problem is that this Trojan can lock your computer and will start demanding a pay-by-phone activation fee to get unlocked and get access to your PC. The users are given a option to send a SMS or call a phone number to obtain a “access code” to unlock the PC.

Windows XP and Windows ME Users should disable system restore feature so that your complete PC can be scanned and then restart your PC in safe mode.
