Paypal Transaction Fees Rate – Sending & Recieving Money

If you have always been confused on how much Paypal.com charges you when you receive some funds in your account then you need to login to your paypal account for detailed information. The rates are based on different accounts types and you can decide to upgrade your account or not based on the different rates.

Personal Accounts :
Open an account – Free
Send money – Free
Withdraw Funds – Same Rules for All Accounts
Add funds – Free
Receive payments funded by PayPal Balance, PayPal Instant Transfer or PayPal eCheck – Free
Receive payments funded by Credit Card, Debit Card
5.4% plus $0.30 USD. No transaction limit for payments sent via Skype, otherwise there is a limit of 5 transactions per year
5.4% plus $0.30 USD for card payments received using PayPal on Skype

Premier/Business account :

Send money – Free

Receive payments funded by PayPal Balance, PayPal Instant Transfer or PayPal eCheck – 2.4% + $0.30 USD to 3.4% + $0.30 USD
Receive payments funded by Credit Card, Debit Card – 2.4% + $0.30 USD to 3.4% + $0.30 USD

Fees for receiving payments :
$0.00 USD – $3,000.00 USD @ 3.9% + $0.30 USD
$3,000.01 USD – $10,000.00 USD @ 3.4% + $0.30 USD
$10,000.01 USD – $100,000.00 USD @ 3.2% + $0.30 USD
> $100,000.00 USD @ 2.9% + $0.30 USD

There are different transaction rates based on Cross-Border Standard Rates and this may differ from country to country.
