your office at vijayanagar Bangalore is of no use except for receiving subscription. They cannot tell me what are the channels in each pack , how much is to be paid for additional channels, etc. Theyr simply ask me to contact toll- free no. .Due to hearing problems it is difficult to get information over ‘phone.. Further, it is not clear as to how to get in touch with the Executive at the toll-free no. So I would request you to open an office in Vijaya nagar to give informn. across the counter.

We need maximum Marathi and Gujarati channels. Pl advise me whether we shall get all Marathi channels and Gujarati Channels. Pl name them. Our preference is for Marathi.

I bought this connection 5 months back with free 3 months premium subscription till 9th Dec. on 8th in the month of December, I called to a customer care and explained him that I no longer require its services because many channels have vanished after 15 days. The problem I had experienced is the set top box is getting hanged whenever channels are changed
I asked them to discontinue “premium” Pack and start “starter pack”. customer care told me that they can not discontinue my service and they continue to charged me for “premium” Pack. So I recharged my account for Rs 300.
On 23 dec They told me that they have discontinue premium pack and started starter pack. I paid them deus for 10th dec to 23 dec for premium pack. On 23rd dec account was finalized. I will watch all channels in starter pack up to 23rd Jan and I paid excess Rs 18.
On 1tst Jan was surprised, They have charged me for both the packages. from 23rd Dec 08 to 1st Jan. How can they charge me for both packs? on 17th Jan They stop all channels and ask me to pay Rs. 79.
You cannot log any complaint. They will listen to you but unable to give you complaint log # and they refused to give me contact #/email id of their superior, Address where I should send written complaints or my account details by post or by e-mail.
Every time i am given an excuse that the system is not working and my balance is reducing. They do not have any provision to stop service in their system though I cannot see any channel.
I have wasted more time with Big TV customer care center than viewing the TV programs. I might have spoken to all Customer Care representatives available in their call center 18002009001 and has to repeat the whole problem finally to hear “sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll log your complaint.” They are interested in making money at the expense of making fool of people.
Every time they insist me to pay dues for which I’m not responsible. Now I cannot see any channels on BIG TV and end up paying Rs 700 per month to Big TV. I feel this is nothing but “modern day robbery”.

I too have had a nasty experience with Big TV help desk. If you ring too early no one answers the phone & after going thru a number of help desk personnel, no solution is being reached. I am also using Tata Sky & find them very helpful & quick to respond.

Big TV has installed Caller Id recognition system. When I call from My cell# they play recorded message to “Pay dues” and I cannot talk to customer care.

I am not satisfied with your all these facilities because of your cost of channel packages which you increas month by month and the diduction of balance without any information so pls i want complete clear & exact information about all these matter because at present our BIG TV dish is totaly swiche off only because of your intrrupted services.so pls don’t try to neglact it & reply soon as soon as posible.

I started with Dish TV way back in 2004-05. After having a harrowing experience with the Dish TV personnel from the Hindi Heartland in addition to cough up hefty amount towards age old set top box and exorbitant monthly charges, I switched over to Reliance Big TV posing immense faith in the Ambani clan. But, Alas, Reliance ADAG has proved that they are no different from Zee group (subhash)shattering my age old faith /views what I had developed over the years on the professionalism of Mr. DhiruBhai Ambani and his wards.

I had very bad experience with Reliance Internet and also Reliance telephone. TATA sky provides good service but their initial charges as well as monthly payment are a little high. Anyway, Reliance, with its very bad customer care (or carelessness), will have to do a lot to retain its credibility. They have good facilities I believe, but don’t have proper people to maintain them. Some of them have been rude to me.

Change is the essence of life, they say. But alas! Reliance BIG TV is also changing, but changing southwards, from bad to worse. There is no professionalism in their approach. The service is pathetic. The overburdened staff, who are made to sell all and sundry under one roof, are rude and mechanical.
I had subscribed for one year in advance opting for south gold package.When I approached the company for upgrading the package, they said it is not possible and I have to shell out money separately for the package foregoing what I have already paid.
Now, I have opted for Sun TV for the last 6 months and their service seems to be OK. They are accessible on any part of the day including sundays and national holidays.
