Saboteur is a new action game that is set against the backdrop of the Nazi invasion in France somewhere in the 1940s. The game does not involve players having to play the role of a French soldier or a mercenary recruited to thwart the attempts of the invading Germans. The game rather revolves around a single person who happens to be present in France at the time of the invasion.

Players get to play Saboteur as an Irish race driver named Sean. The character has come to Paris to seek revenge on the people who had killed his friends. Thus the game does not have the main character doing any job to try to stop the invasions of the Germans on French soil. However in due course of their journey seeking Sean’s revenge players may get a chance to disrupt German plans. The game gets interesting gradually as the Nazis are troubled by the actions of Sean and there are several car chases that make the game quite interesting.

Saboteur is a welcome change to the players as it uses the World War II only as a backdrop of its game and does not involve the characters to take part in any battle. However in due course of the search for the murderers who killed Sean’s friends the players can help the local people by getting rid of few Nazis.

Another interesting feature of Saboteur is that the regions that are under the control of the Nazis have a black and white effect and once the area is liberated from the Nazis the color of the places become normal again. The places that have a black and white effect around them helps in keeping Sean alert from any danger.

Saboteur is really a nice game from Pandemic Studios and will enable players to play a game that is set against the backdrop of the World War II.
