I have made a review of that plugin here http://www.amitbhawani.com/blog/seo-friendly-images-blog/ and its seriously recommended for people who have not added the tags in their previous posts, but if you compare Automated Vs Manual, iam sure Manual rocks because you can assign different titles for different images in the same blog post.

That image was added to show you an example on how a image should be added within a post with Right align, linked to the post.

That option is good if you are using very less number of images within a post, but when you are adding lot of images and you want to add these attributes, iam sure the ftp option is time saving. Though this all depends on user’s taste. Finally you need to make sure you have setup the right tags!

Even though, I don’t have that much knowledge about SEO, we can also change the position of uploading images, in wordpress wp-admin>>settings>>Miscellaneous Settings. Why, I prefer to upload from the post in word press, because of new version of wordpress, all the tags mentioned in the post will be created automatically. Only thing we have to take care of the image file name should be the right name. This is best way for learners like me, instead of creating a html code (if any mistake we do in the code, all our efforts will be gone.
