How to Set up and manage multiple emails

You can always get a free emails at live.com, gmail.com , hotmail.com or yahoo.com but when it comes for professionals you would always need a email like yourname@yourcompany.com , which is completely free service found under your cpanel options. But the problem comes while managing them because many of these webmail programs are not able to detect the spams coming to your email.

I have around 40 email accounts all working for my company and staff and its not easy to manage each of them. But i manage each of these using google apps services which is another excellent service by google which offers the best email service for email@yourdomain.com email accounts.

Google Apps Info:

Google Apps includes email with professional addresses like jsmith@your-company.com and up to 25 gigabytes of storage per account. All your emails are hosted with google and you dont need to download any script/software like outlook express to manage these because it works similar to gmail.com because the interface is completely similar to gmail and you get all the spam protection, email forwarding, google docs, calender and google talk which is a instant messenger service integrated with your account.

Setting up this service is very easy , with the first step being signing up with google apps – standard edition or premier edition @ http://www.google.com/a/help/intl/en/admins/editions.html

Once you signup and create the admin email then you can manage the main admin email and create user accounts and at the same time you need to change the MX Extry under your hosting account.

Procedure : Web Hosting Cpanel > Mail [Mail Manager Main Menu] > Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry) > Change a MX Entry > add this : ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

Once the above changes are done all the emails from your cpanel hosting accounts are moved to google apps based hosting account and now you can handle upto 50 email accounts for each domain name for free.
