Wordpress Plugin to Show Category Icons in Sidebar

Every Blog displays a Category List on their Sidebar using the Widgets or the default code which is available in the sidebar.php and this does not offer anything new to the readers, but if you can display some beautiful Icons next to the Category names, it would look great. In this post we are going to discuss about a plugin for Wordpress Blogs which offers this functionality, called as the Category & Page Icons

This is definitely a recommended plugin for bloggers who have a very limited number of Categories on their blog and who wants to showcase a graphical representation of their Blog Categories.

Category Page Icons Plugin

Just upload the plugin to your Wp-Content>Plugins folder and Activate the Plugin. You will find a new Menu in your Wordpress Admin under the name ‘Icons’ where you can configure settings for this plugin. You need to Upload Icons one by one from your PC and link them to each of your Categories.
