Sony Ericsson C905a Mobile Phone Review

Sony Ericsson doesn’t normally come up with high-end megapixel phones especially in the united states only if they are unlocked. So it has been a surprise that sony had released the Sony Eriksson cyber shot c905a first with AT&T. The Cyber-shot C905a is, indeed, a fantastic camera phone. It has kept the Cyber-shot branding proud with an awesome 8.1-megapixel camera, a new and modern design, and has got a lot of other great features like stereo Bluetooth, GPS, and a music player. There is a problem, while the European version has built-in Wi-Fi, the U.S. version does not benefit with the feature. Still, with quad-band support and 3G both included, the C905a is indeed one of the best camera phones made by sony ericsson .The Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a is said to be available for $179.99 after a two-year service agreement.

Sony Ericsson C905a Mobile Phone

The Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a has a very acute and silky style that really highlights its Cyber-shot namesake. Thanks to the sliding camera lens cover the phone looks more like a point-and-shoot camera from a view back. The phone is 4.1 inches long by 1.9 inches wide by 0.7 inch thick, the C905a is towards the bulky side. It’s curvy at the top and the bottom, has acute corners, and is completed with a matte silver chassis with hints of dark gray finish. Weighing in at 4.8 ounces, it has a nice carry when held in the hand. The sliding mechanism is rock solid as well, and brings out a satisfying click each time you slide it up or down.

Sony Ericsson C905a Mobile PhoneThe 2.4-inch scratch-resistant display on the C905a gives u an awesome look you are looking for and supports around 262,000 colors, which results in very good texture images and is especially helpful while using the display as a camera viewfinder. It has a simple menu interface similar to other AT&T phones, and can be set in grid, rotating, or single icon view. The left side of the phone is where you could find the charger/headset jack and memory card slot, which supports Sony’s proprietary Memory Stick Micro (M2) format. However the disappointed thing is that the C905a doesn’t feature a 3.5mm headset jack. As the W995a is the first-ever Sony Ericsson phone to feature a 3.5mm headset jack, It would be pretty cool if Sony Ericsson would roll that design out to all of its phones. The right side are the volume controls, which also works as zoom controls in camera mode like most of the other phones, a camera album shortcut, a camera mode button that swaps between camera and video, and the camera shutter key. The shutter key can be pressed halfway to focus in on the subject. This phone has been a great new addition to the cyber-shot family and would be famous for gadget freaks.
