Its time you can configure windows mail in vista to make it spam free and save your productive time by not sorting genuine and spam emails[Unsolicited commercial e?mail (UCE). Also known as spam] in your windows mail box. Most of the latest laptops have preinstalled windows vista and have a good antivirus program installed in it, but still these are not able to track the spams which drop into your mailbox.

Now you can use the vista feature which blocks spam and moves it to a junk folder and creates white and black lists for your emails.

Steps to Prevent Spam in Vista :

  • Open windows mail, configure your account and click on the tools option > junk email options and select the level of protection to : No autometic filtering, Low, High and Safe List only.
  • To block phishing attacks, configure windows mail by clicking tools > junk email options , select ‘phishing’ and tick ‘project My inbox from messages with potential phishing links.
  • Sometimes, leg emails get blocked and are sent to your junk email folder which can be avoided by right clicking on the legit email and clicking on add sending to safe senders list.
