I Personally have gone through very bad experiance with Tata Indicom when i applied for this Broadband connection for my office and home.
Here is one Tata Indicom Broadband Review and in the comments you can find how bad their service is. I also have Airtel Wireless Connection for my lappy which i use while travelling but thats better than this Tata Indicom Broadband
From the Survey/Poll on the Tata BroadBand Consumer original review you can find that maximum people have voted this as “Bad Services” and dont forget to read the “15 Things you get with it”.The Speciality with them is No Money back, Full time Downtime, Real bad experiance, Bad customer support etc…
So, next time you are planning to buy a Broadband connection, make sure you check out their reviews.

I Strongly disagree with you over your review on TATA Indicom. I have been using this service from past 6 years. It was called ETH that time then it got under Dishnet DSL then TATA bought VSNL and Dishnet DSL together .. I get marvelous speed without any breakage or disconnection. I am really very happy with it..dont know about Gujarat but here in Pune it rockz !

I agree with u AMIT… the TATA INDICOM SUCKSSS!!!! i really felt like I m in HELL from their SPEED…. it is slow than the Dial-up & it is the WORSTTTTTT of the all & their customer service is more worser… The best i found was AIRTEL whose cust service is dedicated…. & they r the best as of now… from past 1 yr they r giving me full support & their speed is also fine…….

I’m yet to experience the broadband part of VSNL, but their service sure sucks. I had applied for it on 23rd of May, but I have till date not received the connection. Nobody came to even ask me if i had applied online, I had to go to their office and drag them to my place for a feasibility study.
when i will get the connection is yet to be seen. all together i think I have made at least 4 complaints to their customer service. But to no use. Will update as and when i get the service.

Once again Ilike to apprise your companys official that your services are
like dogscurved tail destined never to improve. This is again my one
ofinnumerable complaints in past six months regarding poorest of
poorerservices when customer doesnt know if his connection will work in
nextmoment or not. Yesterday only on 10th JuneI registered a complaint
onur customer centre about frequent disconnections but again
afterconnection was ok for few hours again it went off from 11pm onwards.
Ifail to understand why you people are not making permanent
arrangementsfor it. This shows your highly callous attitude and your
professionallethargy towards your customers. Also indicates your
professionalincompetence in age of IT when internet is a necessity rather
thanluxury.If you r not able to carry out your company in a dignified
mannerkindly let me know so that I can change my connection.Till now
nosatisfactory reply has been made by your any of officials nor were
uable to do the needful.
Kindly let me know once and for all if u peoplewill be able to provide me
uninterrupted services or not .Else I will beforced to go to consumer court

Tata Indicom broad band is not that bad for individuals serfing at night. I observed that in day time speed is slow but at night time its OK. I am hyderabad, I am not aware of speed and service in other cities.
Any more reviews on MTNL broad band in Mumbai? I want to read more reviews on MTNL broadband before going for it.

I have taken Tata Indicom Wireless Internet connection with USB modem. The speed is pathetic and when complained the officails have no solution for this. This is simply non-sense. I would not at all recommend anyone for Tata indicom.

I totally disagree with this. I have been using a dial up connection from year 2000 which got converted to a broadband connection last year. The speed is fantastic (1.53 MBPS) and the service is good here in Cochin. Personally I am very very satisfied.

A sales team from TATA Indicom came to my house and explained the TATA internet USB connection. I said I am interested in the connection. They asked me to fill a form and said that they will come tomorrow with Internet USB and simcard and I must pay Rs 2850 for USB and Rs 100 for simcard.
They never came to my house and I am getting bill every month since 5 months.
It is really a surprise to me that when I never paid to get the connection, how they are sending bills.
I went to TATA indicom customer care in Bangalore and said the story. They cancelled the connection and said that the matter is closed.
But after a month again I got the bill. This shows clearly that People sitting in TATA indicom want to loot public by advertising, asking people to fill connection farms and even without people taking connection charge them and issue bills.
We must take it strongly otherwise they will continue to do so.

i bought a Tata indicom USB modem this week only . It must have been a really bad star position that i saw the ad, called up the guys and the sales rep came over so immediately ( which shold have indicated to me that they are desperate to sell..my fault not to notice) .. it got activated by evening and since then its been 100 calls to the cust service and dealer.. cos the speed is slower than what dial up internet was in 1999 … its sickening.. esp there is no way out.. have already paid 2950 to them for the usb and 150 per month going ahead..its not worth 5 paisa… the dialler software always shows 5 full rods for the network availability ( i guess they have inbuilt that 5 rod image in the software) .. but the speed is .. aaarghhh! God !! please make airtel buy out this pathetic tata service .. so that more brethren doent lose their hard earned money .. amen !

Tata VSNL broad band has been getting worse over the years. i have been a customer since August 2000. Their billing is not taransparent and service apalling. I was over billed by 4000 rs 2 months ago and there is no one to sort out the problem. I have now switched to Airtel

I totally agree with you. Tata Sucks and so do thier service. I had the worst experince after getting my conenction it just does not work and the icing on the cake is thier customer service who is alwasys ready to help you but is never able to do so…..

Those who had better experience with Tata Indicom… You are the luckiest people in the world… Why dont you try your fortune else where… Im sure you wll never fail… Not joking…
I had the worst service ever with this tata indicom broad band … Its been 10 months that my office is using their business plan… To get the connection was the first major task…. Then the service… the serivice is interepted when ever there is a power failure in this locality….
You wont believe we have logged tons of complain to their Call center (a bunch of fools who always asks wether the LED glows ).. the local service engineer (A purely non technichal and pethetic local service engineer. we had to give him advice on what to be done for even smallest of his service)…A irresponsible Nodal officer (Never Picks his phone and if attended never minds if anything is been told to him as a complaint)…And alltogether a fit for nothing service people….
The complain goes from my office 4-5 times in week and this started 8 months back…
We are now to see them legally….. We now hate someone saying that they are good service providers… If anyone is there saying so… please do visit my office… you will change your thought..

I personally have a bitter experience with Tata Indicom too. Specially the download speed is terrible. There is no competitor to BSNL as per my opinion

Guys u people are very true Tata’s logo “Feel the difference” is also very true. Actully they wanted to test your tolerance power. Service’s are not only bad its just ridiculus. I bought one tata wireless(USB) connection. bad speed apart they don’t have any expanation for the over bill they are sending every month. I shifted pack from 2 GB free data to 5(300 minutes) hour just to test their system still I got 518 minutes bill where as actual usage is 252 minutes ( Company’s own modem is showing this usage). Can you believe it. Plz,Plz,Plz never buy tata USB connection if you want to do your work without tension.

i’ve been using tata indicom wifi service US modem since 4 months im very much happy with the speed n i get uninterrupted service even when im out of bombay though i travel a lot for work i never came across any hassels or trouble with the connectivity n i get good speed anywhere i go

Tata VSNL Broadband is pathetic!!! No words to describe their connectivity problems… I have stopped their service. Once it was coming to an end I had calls everday to check if I am renewing it but if I opened a ticket with the customer service then no one ever bothered to check with me my problem. The customer service never logged the call with details & so if you called back to check the status you would have to go over the details again.

TATA Internet service is good Yaar am using past 4 years….not yet get any disconnection and all..even compare to other ISP TATA indicom is the BEST for giving feed to customer.Billing also GOOD no Hidden charges in that….i love TATA INDICOM very much.
