Infibeam Pi and Phi versions are the other two good ebook readers that should be included in the list. iPad too actually, but it may not come into the list when budget is an issue.

What about the nook? I have seen reviews that say it is very close to the Kindle.

Amit, InfiBeam’s Pi Ebook Reader can be a good competitor to the above mentioned ebook readers.
