Top websites cookies recognized as spyware?

Published by Amit Bhawani on October 29, 2007 – 5:14 am4 Comments

I have got a licenced antivirus software named AVG Internet Security 7.5 , which auto runs everyday on all my office systems and every day it finds out approximately 125-150 spywares , though i dont visit any website other than the one in my feeds and some other good tech blogs and forums. I would always recommend you guys to always check out your PC for these spywares or antivirus since these can give your websites a badware warning from google when the files are published via your ftp software.

Spyware Websites Cookies

From the above image screenshot you can clearly view that cookies of adbrite.com, clickbank.com, statcounter.com, cj.com etc are recognized as spywares by avg antivirus which is a very confusing issue imo. Normally every affiliate linked website installs a cookie in our computers to track the affiliates referral link, and some other websites install cookies to track the visitors information like system information etc but if these are recognized as spywares i doubt how much safe our PC’s are.

I hope everyone of you scans your computers for antivirus , spywares and trojans to keep it secure.
