How to Unlock/Hack Apple iPhone 3G
Its not over a week for the Apple iPhone 3G to be released in the UK with records saying that Apple Sold around a million handsets in the first weekend. When the first Apple iPhone’s were released it took them 74days to reach 1 million sales but this time within a week the sales were met and Steve Jobs was quite happy about this.
“iPhone 3G had a stunning opening weekend,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CE
These new 3G handsets which are said to be released in India by this year end via Vodafone with a expected pricing of around 12000-15000Rs. Currently Apple iPhones 3G are sold in UK via AT&T services at 199$ for 8GB Model & 299$ for 16Gb model and extra charges for subscriptions, activations and monthly call charges which are also going to charge almost the handset’s cost. Free Apple iphone upgrades are available for older versions ie Firmwire 1.1.2 , 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 and these handsets were easily unlocked using a small trick under 5 minutes.
The new Apple iPhone version ie 3G is claimed to be non-unlockable but within 4days of its launch there are news that they were unlocked by 2 guys, check out the following video for more information and tutorial on how was this made possible.
Another company which offered unlocking services ie ziphone.org has also released a news saying that their Beta 7 version is capabling of unlocking the 3G version. Their status claims – patched and unlocked with all carriers supported now, though only 2 carriers are currently available in UK at the moment.

I’am these guys would find a way to jail break iPhones,because they can make money only till Apple launches it phone.This I feel would force Apple to launch iPhone world wide.Though the full potential of the iPhone can only be utilised with the correct networks which offer 3G services.

Apple has selected 2 service providers in all the 70 countries. thus in India its Airtel and Vodafone. Both are gonna launch Iphone this September

I have been using Rebel Simcard to unlock my iphone 3G since first day and its working fine, till the time no software unlock is available i would suggest all friends to use the rebel simcard.

Dear Saurav I want to know from where did you get the rebel simcard and which network in india are u using.
I am on bsnl and have asked my cousin in usa t get me a 3g iphone locked.
He said he is not sure whether I will be able to use the same in India or not.
Can u guide me and let me know as to whether your iphone works on 3g or not.

Nokia is going to launch Nokia 5800 which is a touch screen it looks even like iphone have almost all facilitiei iphone have and many more it would be a great provider of music especially…
Apart from this it comes with 8gb card expandable upto 16gb…
It perhaps have 3.2mp carl zessis optics and inbuilt memory of 81MB

Buying an iphone is USA from at&t which is the official carrier will cost as -
iphone 3g 8 GB – $99
iphone 3g 16 gb -$199
iphone 3gs 16GB-$199
iphone 3gs 32 GB-$299
However on buying it from at&t you would have to pay an additional $20 and applicable taxes which adds up to $30 extra per phone. Apart from this the person who is buying an iphone in USA needs a social security number as at&t would be performing a credit check. Now if the iphone has to be carried to india by breaking the contract with at&t, then the social secutiry holder would need to pay $175 extra and loose some of his credit points which in many cases he won’t agree to. This iphone can then be jailbroken/unlocked in USA(best option) or in India.

I have tried sevral diffrent diffrent option to unlock iPhone 3G 2.2.1 [5H11], but unable to unlock it, even I also tried low level programing, we all have to wait for iPhone devlopment team to release next version of yellowsn0w.
