The client has no relation with how a designer updates his knowledge. Its apparent with design sample he submits. "What Browsers they Use?" is again a pointless question as a designer will make the site cross browser compatible regardless of his personal preferences "What tools do you use for designing a Website?"... u wanna judge a designer based on tools he uses??? thts absurd.... a designer may choose tools as per his convenience and no tools have global marking that tells how grt a designer is.... So as per practical point of view i found this article little misleading.
