- Cloned Memes: Memes reproducing third-party content with the purpose of (or with a view to) personifying another Meme or causing confusion on the actual identity of one Meme.
- SEO Memes: Memes written for search robots and not for humans. These Memes exist only to appear in a good position in the Yahoo!, Google and other searches. Meme is not for this type of activity.
- Marketing Memes: Memes whose main function is to bring traffic to marketing programs and coups to “ear money fast”. This includes multilevel marketing and pyramid schemes.
- Pirate Memes: Memes that promote pirate copies of books, software, music, films, etc., or that violate intellectual property rights in any way.
- Automatic Memes: Memes automatically generated by computer, including Memes randomly generated, Memes that repost press releases, marketing material, search results, link lists or any other content prepared in bulk.
