Widgetbucks has now started reporting part stats at their mybucks section with the signup bonus of 25$ already updated and the referral commissions to be updated in this week since this is the first month after their launch.

Here are some of their payment terms :
* Earnings accumulate from the first through the last day of the month
* Referral commissions are posted during the first week of the subsequent month
* Finalized earnings are posted during the first week of the subsequent month
* Payment is issued 45 days following the month your account balance reaches $50.00

The widget bucks team has also clarified now about the misrepresentation of backlinks from the ads on their blog saying this :

The second misperception relates to back-links and why we removed them. Our original intent behind including back-links was pretty plain and simple: if a user did not have the Flash Player installed, we wanted to show a link to WidgetBucks, and disabling javascript does nothing more than reproduce the No-Flash-Player case, since javascript is used to load the flash player. We removed the back-link based on publisher feedback about not being allowed to modify the HTML to place a “no-follow” for SEO purposes. So rather than grant permission to modify the HTML we provide, we simply removed the back-link. Sorry to disappoint the conspiracy theorists out there

Widgetbucks team has confirmed they have got 5000 affiliates and bloggers signed up in the first week of their launch with the total 25 million ad impressions. Another confusing and interesting find is that the link to the signup button on their official blog has a referral link :O , since everyone would expect it to be a direct link to the main signup page rather than a referral link, lets see what widgetbucks team has to say about this.
