Here is a Big wordpress ping list which will ping all these websites when you make a post in your wordpress based blogs. You need to login to your wordpress admin panel , go to settings and under the writing tab enter this list to make sure all your latest blog posts are instantly indexed by different search engines and you get quick traffic.

Just to add here, you have included pingomatic.com which already ping many services for you. But you included them also.. eg. technorati, yahoo so .. it means you will actually do double ping for single post. ..
Hope you got the point.. either remove pingomatic or make sure you are not listing those services which pingomatic pings for you!

the list is too big for me and chances r there that you end up pinging one site many times n getting banned b’coz multi pinger sites like pingomatic.com automatically ping many other sites in d list. U may delete that from list

Its true….
be default when we edit any post…Wordpress ping all the pinging service and thus ….you ended up pinging without actually adding anything new…
there are Wordpress plugin like smart pinger and more to get rid of such situation…

Its possible with RSS Feed Widget option in Wordpress, just get Widgets activated for the footer and set them in the Widgets section with your Rss Feed URL.

Wordpress has a ping flaw. It may mark you as a spammer if you edit lots of posts from the dashboard

For those of you that are worried about using big ping list that might have duplicate ping URLs in it. I have a plugin called, the ping list checker” for WordPress. The plugin is free and you can find more information about it at. spunkyjones.com/wordpress/ping-list-checker-plugin/
You should also try the MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer plugin because it will keep you from double pinging the services every time to re-edit a post. It will also tell you which ping services were successful, so you can get rid of ones that no longer work.

Thanks for the list. I’d recommend using a ping limiting plugin though, to avoid getting banned for pinging too much. One like cbnet-ping-optimizer or similar would work. By the way I used your list on my site (http://www.falloutearth.com) if you wanna check it out. Thanks
