X-mini iHome Capsule Speaker Review

Everything about my iPhone is great except the output sound which comes through it because iPhone does not have any great sound output and i never love to listen music or view videos on my Apple iPhone. This is the same stuff with the Dell Mini & HP Mini Laptop i had purchased in the last few months because the companies recommend to use external speakers if i want to listen to Music on High Volume but how the hell would you carry those big speakers while you travelling?

I found the X-mini iHome Speaker at a PC Store this week in Hyderabad, whose packaging was like a Local Product and was priced at 1100Rs. Looking at the size which was the size of an Egg, i went out first trying it and the Output Volume was just great. The best part is that these are so compact that you can have 3-4 of these in one of your pocket and only one of these would be enough for the maximum sound.

The speaker comes with a single cable with one side connecting to the speaker and the other one is a Audio Jack which can be connected to anything which can be your Apple iPod, iPhone, Laptop or your Car’s Player. There is another USB option in this which has to be connected with your laptop in order to charge the speaker which means that this is not like your normal speakers which eat up your iPhone’s battery but this would self-charge itself and play continuously for 8 hours in one full charge.

Details
* 52mm in diameter
* 2.4W output
* 52 grams
* Playback time – 4 to 8 hours
* Matte black finish
* Included USB charging cable, felt bag

The small bag is also cool because you can keep this Speaker at any place safely. Now the next best part of this X-mini is the Bass Expansion which means that you can open the X-mini from the center by rotating it and listen to songs with Bass & Beats. It opens very easily and expands upto 2″ with a spring kind of coil can be seen inside which movies a little beat when you are listening to a song on High Volume.

    Why on earth would you need 3-4 of them if one is enough? C’mon Amit…

      It was meant to make people understand the size of each speaker. If you can fix 3-4 at once you can understand the total size of these.

    The audio output of the x-mini is quite average. Better option for enhancing sound in laptop is Breakaway audio enhancer.

    The compact size, and the price kept very low, the XMini iHome is a great bud speaker. The size makes it possible to have more than a couple speakers in pockets.
    Only difference of not having a SD card slot, when compared to the X-mini happy. But the price too is kept at a difference that the buyer of iHome won’t be disappointed.
