Yahoo team has now upgraded the yahoo messenger 8 version to version 9.0 beta, which offers many excellent services and is specially designed to meet the vista requirements in terms of design.
This new version offers more space for your friends, has options to show/hide online friends, each friend on your messenger list with each of them having a sub menu :
Send IM – Instant Message
Call – Call a friend via yahoo voice call feature
SMS – Send a SMS to your friends mobile phone
Along with these features now all the contacts from your address book are also added up in your messenger list on the name of Adress Book contacts whom you can also contact using the above three features.
A quick search box on the top of the contacts list which help you find your friends easily if you have got a big friends list by just searching their first name’s characters.
You can also view yahoo videos directly in your messenger’s chat window by just using pasting the url of the video sharing site and the URL is directly converted to a live video running in the same messenger box, though currently yahoo videos and youtube is only supported. Added to this now you can always stay connected with your friends using the forward feature, where in all the incoming calls and IM’s from your friends send are auto forwarded to your phone.

I downloaded this.. in my laptop but i prefer the old one but still new for me that is 8.0 BETA… as this has big big icons for each users… in which i cannot manage my user list… But as u said the design is Excellent.. and Vista like thing graphics
