She was given the name ‘Rachna’ but later she changed to bhoomika and she debuted into the tollywood industry with the movie ‘Yuvakudu’ with the second release against Pawan Kalyan in the movie ‘Khushi’ which turned out to be a major hit. Later on when she entered into bollywood her first movie against Salman Khan become huge on the box office giving her the name she was always dreaming of. Along with this she was also nominated for Filmfare Best Actress Award and she won couple awards too. Some of her latest movies include : Gandhi, My Father, Sathyabhama[Telugu], Anasuya[Telugu], Swagatham[Telugu], Mallepuvvu[Telugu] & Yaariyan
