Faculty of Management Studies
The institute of Faculty of Management Studies famously known as FMS is a part of the Delhi University. The Institute made its beginning in the year 1954 in a humble way to impart three year part time business administration education to the executives. Gradually over the years the institute has written its success story and now is known to be One of India’s premier BSchools.

The Institute offers various programmes in business administration or business management. The students are selected on the basis of a written test called FMS conducted by the institute itself. The written test is followed by rigorous group discussion and personal interview. Master of Business Administration (full time), this is a two year full time course. On completion a postgraduate degree is bestowed upon. The first year comprises all the core subjects related to business administration, in the second year the students can take up specialization in disciplines of marketing, finance or systems.

The applicants should have at least a three year graduation degree after persuasion of 10+2 of schooling. The minimum marks requirement in graduation are 50 % for the humanities stream, 60 % for mathematics, 55 % for other science subjects, 60 % for engineering or medicine or a post graduation degree having 60 % marks. Master of Business Administration (part time). This is a three year part time course dedicated to the professionals. The candidates eligible to apply for this course should be at least a graduate(3 years of graduation course) with a minimum of 45 % marks in graduation or a 55 % marks in post graduation.

The candidates should have professional experience of at least three years. For this course also the applicants have to take the written admission test followed by personal interview. Master of Business Administration- Master of Services (full time). This course is dedicated for the service sector. Master of Business Administration- Healthcare Administration (part time), the students are imparted knowledge related to healthcare services. The applying candidate should have an experience of 5 years in hospital services. The other programmes are like the Management Development Programme and the Doctoral Programme.
