Upon graduating from the pharmacy technician program, students will be equipped with various skills like:

To provide the student with a sufficient knowledge base in pharmaceutical and medical terminology, abbreviations and symbols used in prescribing, dispensing, and documenting medications.

To prepare the student to perform the essential functions related to drug procurement and inventory control and to provide a working knowledge of manufacturing and packaging operations, including the physical and chemical nature of drugs used in a pharmacy, and the packaging and labeling requirements as well as manufacturing techniques used for drug dispensing.

Demonstrate competence in performing pharmaceutical calculations, including conversions, working with pediatric dosages, parenteral and IV dosages, admixtures, and compounding dosages.

The Medical Insurance Billing and Coding program prepares students with hands-on experience and training in a variety of billing areas. Students will study:

For Bachelors program, application fee is $ 50 and fee per credit hour is $ 328. For Masters program, application fee is $ 50 and fee per credit hour is $ 648.
