Not every woman in the world is blessed with full, perfect-looking lips. But that is no reason to fret. With just the aid of a lip lining pencil and lipstick, you can have lips like a model’s in practically no time at all.

The first thing to do to achieve well-defined lips is to brush the area around the lips using a soft-bristled brush. In many cases, a toothbrush works just fine. This will clear the area of dead skin cells whiling defining the shape of the lip line in the process. Next, moisturize the lips to keep them from drying or chapping. You may use chapsticks or any moisturizing gel. Then dab on some foundation on the lip area so the lipstick will stay on a lot longer.

Now comes the more intricate part shaping the lips using a lip lining pencil. Starting at the center of the upper lip, also called cupid’s bow, make a line down to the left and right corners of the lips. Control is very important here in order to create a line that is not crooked or looks a bit like that. Keeping the lip lining pencil in the refrigerator for a few hours before using it will give the lip lining pencil a softer feel, allowing it to glide on rather easily.

You may now fill the center of the lips with lip color with the aid of a lip brush. Choosing the right color or shade will make a big difference on how your lips will take its shape. For fuller lips, wear a lipstick that is light and frosty. Then follow this up with a lip gloss. But if you already have fuller lips, use matte lipsticks instead as they tend to make the lips look thinner than they really are.
