Try out Google Sites, Godaddy free hosting, 000webhost etc but i would recommend using a free hosting company because the site can go down anytime and can also give you issues.

Sir, I need a free hosting site for my website, my site has only a few html pages and jpeg images. Webspace of a few MB would be just fine with atleast 100 mb traffic/month. Please provide me such an address. As I am a dial-up user, ftp uploading, if possible would be great. Thanks.

It is possible in shared hosting too because you can upgrade to VPS or Dedicated Server once your forum reaches certain higher levels, till then there is no need to invest lot of money.

Forums are generally known to be as User Contributed Content based websites where in you should expect most of the content from your visitors and this is hard in the beginning. Also there is a very low income options in forums because visitors based content is not known to have a lot of quality which is why there wont be much adsense income.

Better go for Wordpress Based Blog along with a forum like this and try to get members to the forum and see how it works, if it works great then go for a full fledged forum.

i have been hosting my site mastistuff.com with ibeehosting.com and i dont find any problem till now, even though i get huge traffic, they resolve the complex issues immediately rather than wasting many days like other companies.

i dont know other companies, but i hosted with manashosting earlier, my site used to load very slow.

A company which is not clear in their terms and offers hosting packages but allows only 1 domain hosting and never mentions about this while signup.

A Low cost cheap hosting company with regular downtime. I used to promote their .com version years back via affiliates but they never paid me after 1st payment and hence i would not recommend them.

If you are looking for Indian hosting then go with hostbrains or hostcats which are reasonable and offer solid support.. :)

I have used both of them and hostbrains would be recommend if you starting your online venture!
