Yes that's true even Goarticles+ ArticleBase.com all have 70% dup content but still they rank well.Reasone is Authority nothing else as Amit Said.

To Gain Authority It take time. I am running 4-6 Bookmarking sites. google slapped 2 bookmarking sites because of Dup content. But my old bookmarking site running fine and getting 5-10k Unique traffic a day.Means they Gain so level of Authority.

It does help sometimes but what really matters always is the Authority of the Website.

If the website has gained authority in the search engines, the content would rank better even if its copied than the original website and there is nothing we can do about this, which is the reason these websites are enjoying top serps and the original content providing websites gaining back traffic from these copycat websites.

Everyone knows that copying content is not good for rankings. But sites like mixx.com, rambhai.com, humsurfer.com, i69.in are having 100% copy content (because content is posted by users only) but the sites are ranking well. So, there must be another algorithm, which I didn't understand.

i wanted to know does copying on page seo from the top 5 competitors in google would work improve ranking,
i know that content is king but i wanted to know if i keep my content original but copy meta tags, and other Optimization tweaks which i can know would all that effort would be useful and also can it get me banned from google

thanks Devil Boy and can you tell me if any hosting provider providing Dedicated Ip for cheap godday has it 2$ can we have much cheaper,
currently i will stick with my shared one and next month would give it a try if i get some difference in Pr(*crossing fingers) lol

Once this question also came to my mind the I searched many website regarding this issues. After that I chatted with the support team of popular hosting provider namely Hostgator according to them probably dedicated ip doesn't significantly affect the SEO ranking but it is adviceable to have a dedicated IP so your website will not mess up with other unwanted website.

i recently read some where that like shared hosting your ip is also shared,so if my is on a shared ip does that effect my ranking(pr ,alexa) or anything,

if other sites are of spam stuff like warez and other things will it effect myn too
