Thanks for such a valuable long reply. After reading your suggestions, really Me and my younger brother are both feeling an inner confidence for starting online blogging ventures. I have already taken a print out of your given reply and attached it to our planning file.

To sum up we learn that :

One doesn't necessarily need 1-2 lakhs pages view per day to earn $ 100 per day. Rather it depends mainly on the type of Niche and eCPM.

One needs to update the blog daily. If possible, at the same time using the advance timely post techniques.

Content is not everything, it's the quality of contents that matter.

SEO and link building is the must.

Hi, Let me answer you this question in detail and try to cover as many points as i can.

First of all Google Adsense does pay more depending on the niche and not on the traffic. There is no written rule that Google Adsense will pay more if you have got 3-5 lakhs of Impressions. I have different websites for different niche and in my 4 years experience till now i have found that some niche pay really high and some pay low anytime of the year and nothing depends on the traffic.

Entertainment Niche is one of the Low Paying Niche with no high expectations to be made ever because its a industry where the advertisers look for nothing more than brand in most of the advertisements, ie they look to brand they products or websites and get new visitors or members which means that this is something which is not really going to make the advertisers huge amount of income following which they bid very less for each click and target larger audience with higher budgets.

On the other hand niche like Health, Finance & Education are one of the higher paying ones because in these industries the advertisers tend to sell products which cost decently high and also have a good amount of income margin because of which they target high amount per click in order to get visitors or buyers. You need to decide which industry you should go into because some pay really high but have hard targets to achieve because of high competition and some pay low but get high traffic because of large audience.

Once you have decided the niche you should next focus into continous updation of your blog ie getting fresh content for your blog and for this as you already planned you can hire 1 writer in the beginning who is going to write continiously on a daily target on the topics you decide and give him. The number of topics daily is not important but daily updations is important because its not good to ignore a blog for a few days to weeks and then again start blogging because that would tend to lost in search engine rankings.

You should go with a planned investment and not jump into instantly spending money and try to keep atleast 25% for content for 4 months target, 25% for SEO ie getting someone to build nice backlinks for your blog and the balance amount for reinvesting after 4 months after seeing the results though iam sure you are going to see positive results and by that period already the site would be paying you good amount of money.

Technology kind of niche would pay you 100$ for 15000-20000 page views because thats somewhere around 5-7$ eCPM which is decent number and you can add the Google Adsense right away to your website not thinking to add it after some targets because the money you make right now would be useful in reinvesting more in terms of content writers and building a larger blog with lot of content.

Just keep in mind that in order to make 40000Rs in a month, which is somewhere around 800-900$ you need to keep a target of 30$ in a day and this is possible if you already getting 5000 page views in a day with a eCPM of 6$ which means that for every 1000 Impressions you should be making 6$ revenue. Its all about calculations and if you see the eCPM is low in the beginning you should not worry because thinking about long term and planned targets along with yearly income vs expenses calculations you can achieve everything.

Hi Amit ji,
Today I came across a old discussion at webmasterworld. forum about Google adsense incomes. Some of the member claims to earn 100 $ per day with 15,000 page view per day. While other strongly opposed it by saying 15,000 daily pages view can result in $ 15 only per day. Now here the big question is no novice bloggers can answer anything about adsense earnings.

According to Amit Agarwal of labnol "One should never go for adsense without generating 3-5 lakhs of page view per month because Google gives more to powerful and high ranked websites/blogs"

So Amitji , I will like to know from you about the adsense earnings (approx) one can have in minimum as well as maximum levels with 15,000 pages view per day. (approx)
Now, why am I asking all these questions ?

Currently I am getting 3200 pages view per day (Alexa ranks -under 52,000) and yet I have not implemented Google adsense because I don't want to get addicted towards seeing my earning several times a day. Rather I want to invest Rs 120,000 on my blog. Planning to appoint 2 authors (probably journalist or tech students/job Seekers) on fulltime salary basis for 8 months and they will work under the guidance my younger brother, who is currently a Joomla webmaster & expert.

I, already have other things like a dedicated officer room 140 x 140 sqf, 5 PC's and an extra laptop, 24 hours bsnl internet connectivity, air conditions and etc.
So Amit ji, what should I give them as a target to achieve in terms of pages view so that I could generate an income of RS 35,000 - 40,000 per month from my web-blog.

Or do you think I need to invest more, well the maximum amount at present I can invest in by blog is Rs 200,000 . Please guide me for making the best investment to achieve the above target results.
