For relaxing and swimming and getting away from the busy town life Elliot’s beach is just the ideal place to be. Found near Adayar the beach is warm and a very happy place indeed. Chennai prides itself as being the home of the world’s second longest beach – the Marina beach. This magnificent place which runs a full length of 12km and overlooks wonderful places like the University of Madras is a top attraction for visitors. Other areas of interest would include the Anna Zoological Park in the outskirts of Chennai and the Valluvar Kottam memorial.
