Goa temperature is very high : Day 1 Tour
Hey guys i have just reached Goa and the first thing i would say is wooot! the temperature is damn hot here and you cannot just go for a tour during the day time but hey who is gonna stop you in the night time
. I was planning to hire some bikes or a car for travelling towards the North and south Goa but i think seeing the roads and confusing areas here i need to either go for a travel package or hire a guide for the next 3 days who can help us out in exploring the goa travel destinations
Are you from Goa and can help me in guiding feel free to send me a mail using the contact form and we can always have a quick meet. Currently the time is around 4Pm in the evening and out next plan is to move on towards the Colva Beach, Benaulim Beach, Benavli Beach and other locations in the evening and then hangout at any pubs in goa.
Will plan out about tommorow and blog about the same asap once the plans are decided and i start implementing them and basically exploring goa. If you would like to recommend me some good places to check out please let me know asap and that would be helpful to me.

My usband & me are planning our weekend in goa.Is it advisable considering the heat.wat time onwards is preferable to go out and tour. Thanks
Hey julie, iam just back from the holiday tour i planned at goa and it was just awesome, i had been to couple beaches, tour to South Goa using a travels service, but what i can say is that if you are going on a tour or shopping then this is not the time to visit because its seriously a sweaty hot place and we loved it because the beach is a good place to pass your time and we were att he beach from 3 Pm to 8Pm but other than that we need to stay in A/c rooms the whole day to stay away from the heat.
Hope you too have a good weekend.

My family is planning a break in Goa for 5 days starting 15th August. Wondering if its a good idea. How often does it rain in the city right now? we just want a relaxed vacation-enjoy the sand and water for a few days.
Hey Buddy,
Exploring Goa on Bike is the best way to make ur holiday a hit.
I’ll suggest you to start from South Goa.
Days 1:
Do not think much abt the high temp.
Start from Candolim beach where u can find decent place to stay.
Day One: wake up early…Hire a bike and move:
- See the sunrise at candolim and get ready for bike ride
- 2km approx. from Candolim is Fort Aguada (enjoy here for 1 hr)
- Next Spot would be Calangute Beach 4km frm Fort aguada ( enjoy @ beach for 1/2 hr)
- Baga is the next beach. U’ll find lots of Indians here.
- Anjuana-Vagator-are the other beaches which will come on the way. U can have some snaks and drinks but dont spend too mjuch time here.
- and finally the Best one where u need to spend maximum time is the Morjim Beach.
Leave Morjim beach when u want and u’ll reach back to candolim in 40 mins (maxm).
So in one day you can explore the beauty of North GOA on bike and bealieve me thats the best way. If u r in a group u cab hire a open jeep , alto, etc also.
Bike (gearless) will cost 200-300Rs. P day + fuel
Bike (Geared pulsar /Enticer etc) 30 to 450 P day + Fuel
Open jeep 850 to 1400 P Day
Alto etc 700-100 P Day.
Enjoy … n carry ur camera…U ‘ll find lots of places to on the way..for clicks.
; ) and quest u can ask…
