Logitech is one of the biggest players when it comes to iPod speakers and it has been constantly producing a wide variety of excellent portable speakers since the introduction of iPods. The brand hasn’t changed its introductory mechanism much, but has continually evolved with the times to create more user friendly units with advanced functions and advantages. Hence, the brand is hugely popular and successful and is widely used by music lovers all over the world. The most recent speaker model that has been introduced by this company is the Rechargeable Speaker S315i. Along with the usual speaker functions, this model is also equipped with iPod shielding and power saving arrangements. Also, the speaker as well as the iPod can be charged with a dock connector even when music is being played.
Up to 20 hours of music can be played at a stretch and the speaker, being extremely light in weight, can be carried around everywhere very easily. The design is sleek and slender and the dimensions are 1.8 x 10.8 x 5.2 inches. It weighs just about 1.5 pounds and has a fold in foot that makes it extremely portable and you can easily pack it up in your back pack when you are travelling. It also features an auxiliary input that can be used to connect the speaker to computers, laptops and music players other than the iPod. The speaker is custom tuned and ensures optimum sound clarity. The music is perfectly crisp and the effects are absolutely awesome. This speaker is extremely easy and convenient to use. It is a must have for all music lovers who really cherish high quality of sound.
The price is extremely affordable and ranges from $65.85 to $114.99 and it is worth every dollar. Logitech ensures value for money and provides excellent service, in turn, making this the most perfect speaker ever.
I like the speaker + dock like stand arrangement of the s315i. It’s made well to put the iPod in place and play any movie or work, with the speakers in function.
20 hours of playing time is a superb feature, where you won’t need very frequent charging of the speakers. But still, is the range not pretty high when it goes to $115 at max?
