Managing Multiple Tabs in Firefox Browser at times becomes a hectic task because the more number of tasks you are running, the more confusion arises because of this. Also the browser takes the maximum amount of resources when all of these tabs are loaded and running. A better option available for Firefox is installing and running the ‘TabGroups Manager‘ Addon which can organize all the tabs in different groups which you assign.
We at any time always have more than 50+ tabs open which are saved and closed when we plan for restarting the computer. All of these are restored back when the browser is started again, following which the browser again starts using huge amount of resources, which can only be reduced by hibernating the tabs which are not used when the browser is restarted.
First of all you need to create a new group by right clicking on the new toolbar in the browser and selecting the first option of ‘New Focused Group(A)’, which will be named as ‘noname’. Next right click on this and select the rename option to give it a name which would be useful for you to differentiate the Tab Groups. Next if you are interested in Hibernating the tabs group, then you need to select the hibernate option and this will save the whole group and keep it ready for making them live whenever you want to.
