What you are going to view next is something which is really amazing and something which every country should adapt. India is having a huge connectivity through Railways and all of these lines and tracks are setup manually with months and years of time to setup one route which is the reason not only the costs but a lot of time is wasted in this. Along with this there are regular breakages and maintenance required which can be solved with this German Train.
Germans has come up with a better concept where in the company Infrabel – which is railway infrastructure company with 14500 employess have setup a train which could save their time, resources and labour. Called as the P811-S Track Renewal Train which would lay train tracks while moving over them.
This train actually renews the tracks which means that it replaces the broken, unusable tracks with new ones, perfectly setup and then smaller engines helping the main train setup the other stuff like stones, joints, lines etc. Check out the amazing video below.
This one is already used by the Indian Railways, I saw it while traveling, they are using this at several places in India.
Dear Sir,
It is really amazing to ” Amazing Railways Concept-Train Lays its own Tracks”. Thanks for this and give more of it.
Sir this type of system is already in operation in “Indian Railway System” since 1975. This operation is under department named ” Track Machine Organisation”. M/s Plasser & Theurer at Faridabad, are manufacturing and suppling these machines to Indian Railways. Machines like PQRS (Track laying), CSM (Tamping) etc are in operation Indian Railway systems. Because of this system, train speed between our four metropoly have gone upto 140 Km/Hr, which in future is likely go up to 180 to 350 Km/Hrs.
Reasons for slow progress in Indian is not technical but political.
Thanking you,
Your Truely,
Mr Surendra S Mehta.

I would have loved to see some machinery that can lay new tracks rather than repair and replace the old used ones. That would actually reduce the real work load.
