It seems that after Idea Cellular’s TVC campaign Idea to inform customers about Mobile Number Portability has been hijacked by none other than state owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), as today BSNL becomes the first operator to announce special offers on account of the most awaited Mobile number Portability (MNP) which is slated to launch from tomorrow from the state of Haryana.
Ina special event at Rohtak tomorrow the 25th of November, Chief Minister of Haryana Hon. Shri. Bhupinder Singh Hooda along with the new Telecom Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal will be inaugurating the most awaited MNP Service in Haryana. As expected the porting charges which were earlier decided as Rs. 19 still continues but as a special promotion offer BSNL will be waiving off the porting charges and also additionally tempts customers of other operators to join BSNL’s family by announcing welcome goodies like Unlimited FREE GPRS for a period of 30 days from the date of joining and a joining bonus of additional Rs. 100 on FRC welcome recharge.
With the arrival of MNP you can switch to different operators of your choice from your existing CDMA to GSM, GSM to CDMA, CDMA to CDMA and also from GSM to GSM.

Although its yet not launced in rajasthan.. but when it will launch in rajasthan i don’t think so people will shift to bsnl as bsnl network is to problematic in rajasthan…
Just buy any airtel/voda SIM around 10 rupees, and Pay 19/- for porting and get a BSNL SIM with 100/- talkvalue, and 1Month GPRS.
So, total about 300 rupees profit.
