Hero Honda Hunk new 150CC bike

Hero Honda Motors Ltd[HHML] has launched a new 150CC bike named as “Hero Honda Hunk” which is their fourth product with the previous ones being 156 cc CBZ Xtreme, 150 cc Achiever and 225 cc Karizma.

Hero Honda Hunk will be available in two versions ie kick-start and self-start and comes with a price tag of 55,000 Indian rupees and this new bike can increase hero honda’s premium bike segment share from the current 15-20% to around 25%.

The feature of this bike include adjustable rear shock absorber, designed similar to CBZ xtreme and engine volumes 149.2cc and produces 14.2 bhp @ 8500rpm with a max torque of 12.8Nm @ 6500rpm.

    I just bought Bajaj Pulsar 200cc for 75k here (Mumbai) last week. I was thinking to CBZ but this model was rocking than the new CBZ extreme and Karizma was over budget.

    I think you should make a review of Pulsar 200cc also and there is one more model of Pulsar 220cc too 😉

    • i dont know y ur supporting that bike which needs lot of maintainence gives lots of problems i suggest u just bcoz of low price dont support that bike

      • hunk is the best boz after 65 km speed Dazzler get vibrate and noise is more and skidding is more than hunk u apply sudden break mileage is less

        its true that at +80km every pulsar give little noise.
        actuly their is only one bike unicorn can stand with hunk in terms of performance, otherwise pulsar & others cant stand with hunkkkkkk.. .
        surely go for it go for hunkk k k k .. .

    discover is very little less than pulsar 150cc
    8.7cc , 0.4bhp , 0.04kgm max torque and 6kg.

    10,000/- difference

  52. Dear Abid Hassan please check the import duty in Pakistan and add that duty on current price of the bike, that will be the total cost reaching at your place subject to the condition that if other charges are not impossed along with import duty.like other charges extra road tax etc.

    I bought HH Hunk 2 months back, its really nice, better pickup than pulsar. Don;t compare pulsar200cc with other 150cc bikes. Even though pulsar is good in performance, the engine sound is worst. More over Bajaj engines are good upto 1year only………….

    • the best bike in 50000-60000 is 125cc shine and in 150cc hunk but it above 60000 .hunk price is 65000.i suggest you for hunk.

  67. Hi yuhun do yo have any way out of my problem. I have purchased HH HUnk on 17 Oct 08, from very first day i have noticed a regular problem in Gear shifting,first of all it not as smooth as my Honda Stunner, secondly its come back to Neutral automaticaly from second gear, and thirdly its not possible without loosing clutch on each gear to come down on first gear direct from fift one.Is a machine problem ????

    • hiiiiii raghav I think that is your bike’s problem,that is not hunk’s problem.you must get check your bike orrrr i think you dont know how to ride on hunk?
      i also have hunk n it never gives me this types of problem.

    • the price of hunk is 69000 if you dont want to take digital meter than it may be below 65000.
      n avg. is above 45kmph.

  102. This Bike or any other Indian bikes are Not available in Pakistan and will not be available as direct import or otherwise.I heard smuggling of indian bikes happens to pakistan.but that too is very small amount.go to border cities/towns like attock.they may have Indian bikes.

  111. hey hello every1 d MUSCLE HUNK is jst gr8. i myself drive it at top speed of 122km/hr-i was jst amazed at that time but its true.n it gives milage of 52km/ltr if driven with proper care.

  119. I am using Hero Honda Hunk from last 1.5 yrs.
    Boos its an amazing bike, I run it on a speed of 60 to 90 Kmph speed, but even at 90 its good. I got an average of 40 when using in rough conditions (speen 60-90) and about 48 when with in speed of 40 – 60 in long run.

  121. hi guys, i have hunk, and i bought this bike in 2008, And im very very happy with this bike, its pickup is 14.2 which is more than Pulsar, apache and unicorn.. the fuel tank gives looks like a sports bike tank, and its milleage is 48 in city and 52 in Highways, but its true that i never paid any single pany on this bike yet. Its engine is very much silent like Honda Unicorn, Mentainence is just like nothing apart from engine oil on service time. its a Comfortable bike while driving. If u guys looking for a new bike, then i must say u should go with HUNK only….It REALLY ROCKSSSSS….

    • the bike is not based on ur weight and height do u know the bike riding very well and one thing hunk is the best bike

I had just purchased a new hunk Self starter 2 months before.. but it’s battery has gone down for the second time Batery name: EXIDE. problem is that i have to push the bike from back and then start it manually. I spoke with hero honda hunk owner regarding this he told if u r not using the bike even for two days then battery will automatically go down and u will face problem to start bike.. However my friend’s FZ bike is also SELF without kick, is kept unused for more than a month and when started it starts without any problem…
    So what may be the issue please suggest i m frustated with all this…
    Also I had heard that there’s some other procedure to start hunk by putting in it main stand with gear 1 active and rotating its wheel backward. i had heard the bike starts like this.. please deliberate this procedure.. please help..

    • dear yogesh yamaha is lot better than hero honda & bajaj as far as stability is concern, yamaha bikes prices are higher than these bikes but no doubt stability & engine life is much better

  138. hi friends i bought my hunk in nov 2010 i m facing a big problem in my bike, few days back my bikes self start was not working due to the faulty battery which i get changed from the dealer as it was in the warranty but at that time there was no worker in the work shop coz i had gone there after 5 pm so there was no worker and i hv to ride my bike without any starting option till the next day, at that time i realised that i hv made a big mistake purchasing this bike as it don’t hv kick start option…..can anybody tell me whether i can install kick start in this bike as i m left with no option now i hv invested a lot of money in purchasing and i m not that financially strong that i can change my bike pls anybody help me regarding this problem.

    I own a new model of hunk DDS with digital speedometer in last month . the overall look of bike is very nice .its just looks like macho bike. its performance is also very pleasent. it dosent make the noise at 100 kmhr as most of pulsar do.
