Apple iPad is still used by many as a eBook Reader because of the iBooks application and other excellent features like the 10 hours long battery backup. Now since the iPad 2 is also here you can continue enjoying all these with higher performance.
We had earlier written about taking Screen Captures on iPad which allows you to easily capture the whole screen area. In this article we are going to discuss about a application which is going to allow you to take selected area screen captures only on PDF Documents.
Called as the the ‘PDF Snapshot’, this application is available for free in the iTunes Store and can be downloaded on most iOS based devices. Once you download and run the application, it would be running in the background and would be available active for PDF files.
You need to open the PDF files through this application and then make use of the different sets of options available in the top and bottom of the screen. Next tap on the small ‘edit’ option available on the top right to display the tool box or the list of editing options. Under the displayed options you can easily add a Arrow, Text Box, Select areas and perform different options as per your requirements.
Once you added the text annotations, arrows and other contexts you can use the top right arrow option to start capturing the selected area of the PDF document. Can you re-size the selected area and then proceed with the saving option, you will be given two different options. One is to directly email the captured image or else save to your Photos Folder. Do check out the following video which can give you a clear idea on how is this application being implemented and how easy is it to perform this job.
