HTC P6300 Mobile Phone Review

HTC P6300High Tech Computer Corporation known by its abbreviation HTC is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of primarily Microsoft Windows Mobile based portable devices. The HTC P6300 is a newly released Windows Mobile Pocket PC from HTC.

The HTC P6300 runs Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition and it is mostly suited for enterprise use. The HTC P6300 is a relatively large Pocket PC. Its size is 129 x 70 x 18 mm. It weighs approximately 200g. Compared to other Pocket PCs and Smart phones the HTC P6300 is bigger in all dimensions. It is an efficient, reliable, user friendly device evidenced by its features. It is characterized by a, Large 3.5 Touch Screen, which allows one to view documents and applications. powerful Samsung Processor, 400MHz, 256 MB ROM, Microsoft Windows Mobile5 In terms of connectivity the device supports GSM/GPRS (tri-band 900/1800/1900) and has also built in Wi-Fi, support for Bluetooth V2.0 and IrDA It also has a 2 Mega Pixels camera which image sensor with Macro and a preview mirror.

This PDA runs all the Microsoft Windows Mobile applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer and Media player. Other applications such as loud speaker, Voice Dial, task manager and voice recorder are also found in the pocket Pc. The Window Mobile outlook feature allows you to access most of the applications available on the Outlook on your PC.

This enables you to send information from the P6300 Pocket Pc to Your PC like appointments using the software, Microsoft ActiveSync .This software is part of the total package that comes along with the HTC P6300. Unlike most pocket pc and smart phones, the buttons on the HTC P6300 are rounded. The answer and end call round buttons are located beneath the display.

In between them there is a round five way select / action key and the Windows Mobile keys. Above the display, on the left there is the dedicated button for email and on the right there is a dedicated button for opening Internet Explorer. The device is ideal and meant for business usage however it lacks a3G and a built in GPs receiver.
