I bought a reliance USB modem last week under the new offer (2 months internet free and unlimited usage).they charged me rs 2820 .I found the connection really bad and not worth.I am not able to browse neither chat during busy hours.am able to browse only during early mornings.evenings and day time the internet is very slow and cannot be used for chatting etc,,,,,,,it shows full coverage but poor performance.so please be very careful while purchasing the pack.

  24. Reliance is one the worst service provider I have ever come across. You will not have any problem in getting the new connection. But when you to terminate the connection then they will make you cry & make your life horrible.
    Never go for reliance. Just my advise.

Iam using Reliance Netconnection since 10months at beginig Iam in 650 package every month I use to pay 800/- but three or four months back I changed my package from 650 to 300 package, I changed it through net only by calling customercare they said that it will be changed in 2days but they changed it after 9days and they charged the bill according to old pacakage in that month,why they did so late? It’s their mistake but why should i have to pay the amount? anyway but Ipaid. In the second month Igot extra bill for using extra hours but in that month I didn’t used extra hours I used only 6 or 7 hours in the day time and 2 hours in the night time in that month also they charged me nearly more than 700/- why so?     The reliance ad look pretty cool, but the review above are saying that Connection Speed is poor, i am at present the user of “BSNL Broadband”. Speed is Ok not too good, 30-35 Kb download.

    We all need unlimited, super speed, unlimited downloads, the BSNL people has banned _torrent websites on our account, will Reliance also do something like that?

    what do you expect us to do with a broad band, just sit and email and pay that amount each month ???

    When we are paying Rs. 900+ tax, we plan to download music, videos, animation, books, maybe whole wallpaper websites from the net!!!

  43. hi i have taken a plan of 400/-freedom at night. i am a doctor and busy in day time so i have been using net only at night hours… i have taken connection Reliance usb modem for 2850/- on 22/8/08 and n the connection was stopped till 5/9/08 as because of the dealer har forgotten to put his own signature in the submision form. today 18/9/08 i got a msg for paying 1863.44 for my high usage

    it means 100 mb file will be dnlded in & about 2 hrs
    n bsnl evdo 2.4mbps UNLIMITED gives u speed like u will dnld 100 mb file in just 5 minutes

    as they say choice is yours

  64. I have DELL XPS 1530 Laptop, it has the slot for inserting data card . But firstly it allows 34mm data card connectors and secondly it allows 54mm with L-Shape of 34mm data card connector . Is there and data card which suits my laptop ? other thing is the speed of net accessing/down loading of data card is faster than usb type ?

  73. there is no plans for reliance netconnect they charge u as they like for downloading 1mb it takes less time of only 2o min to 30 min and to load a page it takes less then the download time of 15 to 20 min and speed is mind blowing speed of 1 to 2 kpbs and to connect to internet it takes only 24 hours and the internet disconnects only when its emergency and the charges they put is very good a person who wants to spend his all earned money for free should buy this even after disconnecting u r being charged thousands of ur hard earned money and the customer care is just to spend ur money and time so all please buy this product and special note: whome ever want to get into problems and get tensend every day must buy

    But as per my experience this wireless internet connection performence is very very poor.speed is too slow.
    If you are doing chating you will not hear voice from other party.
    You will not able to see his/her webcam.Because of low signal of wifi reliance connection.I would like to stop my wifi reliance connection & go to broadband.Amitbhawani had displayed for Reliance wireless usb free,but it is not free you have to pay Rs.2490/- for it.Their representative will not hear you after you bought.before they will tell no problem / highest speed / good services , but nothing.

    • yeah the unlimited at night plan which used to give unlimited downloads during night from 10p.m to 6 a.m is no more unlimited. instead it charges 50p/min even at night which is too heavy!!

  115. I was planning on buying USB modem from Reliance but they require monthly payments which are quite exhorbitant to me. I already have broadband and I was looking at it as a backup source of internet when the connection goes down. Too bad they are not offering pay only what bandwidth you use, not fixed monthly payment.

    • Do not buy from reliance , or you will repent like me . They have neither coverage , nor speed . To make matter worse they do not have sevice at all , They do not care for customers .

You will get one complaint no , then nothing happens, no body contacts you , but the complaint closed in system without solving the issue nor they will inform you

    I already use net connect so i tell you only. in my tariff plan i have 10GB night and 5 gb day. i check my data uses on 13 and it was 3 gb and after billing it was 26gb and billing date is 18gb and reliance send me 7200 bill. How can it possible. let one one may be i download data but one thing. My creadit limit is 3500 and according to reliance if i used 80% of our creadit limit than reliance closed my connection than how can its happen

    • peter , firstly the unlimited offer is not aavailable in reliance netconnect..and my persnal suggetion please dont take reliance netconnect prepaid – any offer in hyderabad… the service is worst and you will not have any support from dealers nor the customer care.. vijay.

But since one month the said instrument is not functioning and net is not connected. Several times I approached the Customer care, but they have not give suitable suggestions.   128. folks, i had a very bad experience with netconnect hispead- prepaid. its 3500+ one month free (10gb usage), everythng went well for th first month. i have charged 3000 rs – 18month period with 18 gb. now all the trouble started. the dealer recharged and onthe site the expiry displayed was july(2010) , which according to th offer was july 2011. Dealer could not explain this nor the customer care. The biggest trouble is the second day of recharge , my complete balance is showing zero – i called up customer care – dealer almost more than 40 time to customer care. As usual the custmer care is very pathetic they dont have minimal training nor the ettiquettes to speak to customer. dealer is blaming the customer care and customer care is pushing back on the dealer.. ultimately i lost 300o rs.. i have allt he customer care and dealer conversation recorded and i am providing it the the local news channel- hoping atleast this should not happen to any one hyderabad..

    My request to all friends planning for net connect prepaid(reliance). please dont … it will screw ur happinesss… vijayanand.

    As per my experience (More that 6 month), please do not take chance with Reliance Net connect, datacard, as per me I’m using in Delhi NCR and its totally worst service.
    I called so many time reliance guys, they said we are trying to resolve network issues, but finally they said, this is our optimum level in your area. and we can not provide good service as expected.
    Guys please do not go with Reliance, i know its cheap but not use-able.
    You can only get a dial up speed, then use your mobile and enjoy.
    Other wise choose another option.

  153. this comment is correct when we go to purchase data card the reliance web will give positive response and when ever the data card is not working or the bill is extra charged they wont give any clarification to the question the service will be good and the bill will be heavy which we cannot be paid towards the reliance only the reliance will be good service and the bill will be heavy when we compare to govt connection the bsnl will be charged acquarate and the service will be worst the connection will be given and they wont respond the repairs and they donot known about technical problems because they dont know
