Setting up Secure Home/Office Wireless Network Wifi Zone

You own a laptop but still need to stick around at one place to connect to the internet? Well if you own a laptop the first thing you need to keep in mind is that you have a wifi adapter button using which you can easily make your complete home/office wifi and you can move around the places very easily. In case of windows based laptops you need to connect using the wireless adapter and in case of macbook its called as ‘Airport’ using which you can connect to the same high speed broadband internet services without the need for any cable wires.

First of all you need to setup your broadband router after which you would need a Wireless Router which would share the internet connection to several pc’s using cable wire and upto 8 wireless laptops at the same time and tweak the performace of internet services to the best in order to make sure all the users get the optimum level of speeds. I would recommend using D Link DI524 Wireless Broadband Router which iam using from over a year at both my office and home wifi network.

You just need to plugin your internet cable wire into the wireless router’s WAN point and you can find that the WLAN lights turn ON after which you need to go to your computer’s Wireless Network connections and click on ‘View Wireless Networks’ and select the default connection and connect to the internet on a wireless network. You need to make sure you complete the network security setting if you want to secure this connection. The setup is also like plug & play and you wont need to tweak into much settings to get started. Once completed you can move around your home and stay connected!
